      <image:caption>Diego De Souza Aleixo, began his studies of ballet, jazz and contemporary in 2004 at Centro Cultural Vanessa Ballet in São Paulo, Campos Do Jordão, Brazil. He participated in various dance and social projects in Brazil. He participated on different festivals and won awards in competitions. In 2010 after graduation he moved to New York City and received a full year scholarship at Alvin Ailey School, which allowed him to further his contemporary and modern dance training.       <image:title>Dance - Chelsey Cioli</image:title>
      <image:caption>Chelsey Cioli grew up in southern New Hampshire and studied ballet, modern, contemporary and jazz at New England Civic Ballet.  After graduating high school she attended Indiana University where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and Contemporary Dance.  During her time at IU she studied with renowned artists such as Larry Keigwin, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Angie Houser, Kathleen Hermesdorf and David Parsons.  She also performed works by Dayton Contemporary Dance, Angie Houser and Roger Jeffries. In her junior year Chelsey received an arts grant from the university to study abroad in Lucca Italy, where she worked with dancers from Nederlans Dans Theatre, Batsheva and Noble Motion Dance.  After her time at IU, Chelsey moved to New York City to pursue her dream of a professional dance career. Since relocating to New York, Chelsey has performed and toured with Kelley Donnovan &amp; Dancers and is a current company member of Salvatore LaRussa Dance Theatre. Chelsey is thrilled to be dancing with SHIFT Dance.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>LAURIE DÉZIEL, born and raised in a small town of Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada trained at L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, The School of Toronto Dance Theatre.  She is a scholarship graduate in the 2-year Professional Training Program at The Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance where she worked alongside the Graham II company.  Laurie has performed as a soloist for the Balasole Dance Company’s season MIXTUS presented at the Ailey CitiGroup Theatre. She is currently a company member of Smashworks Dance Collective and SHIFT, Dance. Arts. &amp; Media. She has performed works by American choreographers Martha Graham, José Limón, Roberto Villanueva, Jennifer Conley, Filip Condeescu and Canadian choreographers Christopher House, Sharon B. Moore, Darryl Tracy, Julia Sasso and Allison Plamondon. When Laurie is not dancing, she works as a freelance actress and model in New York City.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Emma Fath is a New York City based artist.  Currently, Emma is a dancer with SHIFT Dance, and she has worked with the Francesca Harper Project and with Impact Movement Collective.  She has had the wonderful opportunity to work as a center intern with Gibney Dance Center in New York, and for two years she served as the director of a university not-for-profit that supported international girls education.   Emma has performed choreography  by artists including  Andrea Miller, Reggie Wilson, Richard Alston, and Peter Sparling.  She graduated with high honors from the University of Michigan where she received a dual-degree in Dance Performance and in Cellular, and Molecular Biology.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Debbie Schneider graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University with a BA in Dance and French Literature. During her time at Cornell, she danced in works by Paul Taylor, Merce Cunningham, Lucinda Childs, and Mark Morris and performed at the Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts, in New Orleans, and abroad in Paris, Dublin and Rome. Debbie is currently the Content Coordinator and primary writer for Park West Neighbors magazine and has written articles for Dance Magazine. Debbie was awarded a merit-based fellowship by NYU to complete an MA in French Language and Civilization in Paris (2012-2013). Debbie is the founder and head tutor of StudySmileSucceed Tutoring, LLC. She has spent years tutoring French and other academic subjects and has extensive experience working one-on-one with young adults with Asperger’s syndrome. Debbie has performed with Diane McCarthy, The Next Stage Project, Sans Limites Dance, and with Buglisi Dance Theatre in the "Table of Silence” at Lincoln Center. Recipient of a scholarship and the Armgard von Bardeleben Award from the Martha Graham School, Debbie has taught and demonstrated Graham classes and performed for three years with Graham 2. She currently dances with Wilma Casal/Wolf&amp;Swan, Julie Petrusak/JP Dance Group and in the Merce Cunningham Trust Fellowship events. Debbie is the newest addition to the SHIFT Dance company.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Brigette Cormier is dance artist and educator, and artistic director of Brigette Cormier Dance Company (BC Dance Co.) in Miami, FL. She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts (BFA) Degree in dance from the New World School of the Arts College in 2011 and founded BC Dance Co. soon after. Brigette’s dance training includes extensive study of the classical and neoclassical ballet techniques and she has trained in modern dance with the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Jose Limon Dance Company. She has danced professionally with Brigid Baker Whole Project, Peter London Global Dance Company, and Pioneer Winter Collective. She is currently a teaching [dance] artist with Arts for Learning, Miami Dance Studio, and Barre Elements. She has been in choreographic residency since 2013 at the Rift Blackbox Theater, premiering two full length contemporary ballets with her dance company there to-date, “Joan the Ballet” (2014) and “TV NO”(2016). Her most recent commissions include to creating and performing her original work and danceworks in collaboration with composers for Compositum Musicae Novae (CMN), as well she has created dances for MiamiArtZine, Florida Dance Teacher’s Association, Miami Dade College, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, Micro Mobile Theater, and more.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Rohan Bhargava is originally from New Delhi, India and he holds a B.F.A in Dance from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. He works for Cameron McKinney/Kizuna Dance, Greater Ridgewood Youth Council, and 10 Hairy Legs in addition to serving as Artistic Director of Rovaco Dance Company. As an emerging choreographer, Rohan has earned awards and commissions from Moving Beauty Series, Mare Nostrum Elements, Tamasha NYC, Mannes School of Music, and The Dance Gallery Festival. In 2017-18, Rohan will be creating a new work for LaGuardia Performing Arts Center courtesy of CUNY Dance Initiative. He will also teach guest classes at Sam Houston State University, University of Houston, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Hunter Dance Center, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.       <image:caption>Caitlin Potosnak grew up dancing at Dance Expression dance arts in northern NJ where she received extensive training in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. She had the opportunity to take classes in NYC and NJ Ballet. As well as having the  privilege to perform with the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company during their 25th anniversary celebration. Caitlin  graduated from Radford University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in dance and an Exercise Science minor.  During her years at Radford she was an apprentice dancer with d a n a h b e l l a danceworks and got to work with many choreographers and performed all over the east coast. She was awarded 1st place at the Virginia/North Carolina regional choreography competition held by the National Society of Arts and Letters organization and went on to compete Nationally in Birmingham, AL.  She then went on to become a member of the West Virginia Dance Company for two years, bringing modern dance into public schools and Universities. While in West Virginia she was awarded a professional development grant from the West Virginia division of culture and history: National Endowment for the Arts, in which she got to further her studies in dance. She has also studied with Doug Varone and Dancers, Limon Dance Company, Amy Marshall Dance Company, and the Radio City Rockettes. Upon Relocating to NYC she’s performed with Ariel Rivka, and Nicole Kadar. She is a company member of Dance Cat-Alyst and Shift create dance. Caitlin is also a certified Pilates Instructor, NASM-CPT, and teaches at Pilates on Fifth, BeFit NYC, and Chelsea Piers.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Brigette Cormier is a dance artist and educator, and artistic director of Brigette Cormier Dance Company (BC Dance Co.) based in Miami, FL. She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts (BFA) Degree in dance from the New World School of the Arts College in 2011 and founded BC Dance Co. soon after. Brigette’s dance training includes extensive study of the classical and neoclassical ballet techniques and she has trained in modern dance with the renowned faculty of the New World School of the Arts, Martha Graham Dance Company, and the Jose Limon Dance Company. She has danced professionally with Brigid Baker Whole Project, Peter London Global Dance Company, and Pioneer Winter Collective. Brigette is currently an artist-in-residence at Miami Light Project (MLP), commissioned to create a new work for MLP’s Here &amp; Now: 2017 to be premiered in May 2017 at the Light Box at Goldman Warehouse in Wynwood Miami. As a dance educator, she is currently a resident dance teaching artist with Arts for Learning and a Barre Master Teacher at Barre Motion. Brigette co-founded Love Stead Arts/ 276 Arts Studio in Wynwood in 2011, a multidisciplinary studio and gallery, where she curated gallery shows and created her dance company. In 2013 she began a 3-year choreographic residency at the Rift Blackbox Theater, where she premiered two full length self-produced contemporary ballets with her dance company there to-date, “Joan the Ballet” (2014) and “TV NO” (2016) and the dance film “The Renegades” (2015). In the Summer of 2016 Brigette was in choreographic residency with Shift Dance Art &amp; Media, she was commissioned to create an original ensemble work on the NYC based dance company. Other recent commissions include presenting her original work and creating and performing choreography in collaboration with composers for Compositum Musicae Novae (CMN); as well she has created dances for MiamiArtZine, Daniel Lewis Miami Dance Sampler, Florida Dance Teacher’s Association, Miami Dade College, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, Micro Mobile Theater, MiamiArtZine, and more.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Iker Murillo is from the Basque country, San Sebastian, Spain. He is UDC’s artistic director and dancer who has performed with the Zurich Ballet, Ballet Basel and The Bejart Ballet Lausanne. His ballet training took place in the “John Cranko Ballet School” in Stuttgart, Germany. He was named “Dancer of the year” in 2010’s edition of “Ballettanz Magazine”.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Marsha Rodriguez is of Puerto Rican descent and studied under a full-awarded scholarship in The School of American Ballet in New York City at the age of twelve. A guest soloist dancer with the Alonzo King LINES Ballet and a soloist for six years with the Bejart Ballet Lausanne, has placed her on stages all around the world. One of her career highlights was her principal role performance in the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles in France where she danced the lead role in Maurice Bejart’s ballet “Bhakti”.</image:caption>

He has been commissioned to create choreographies by The Baletto di Siena in Italy, and The Béjart Ballet Lausanne. In 2016, Vitali was a finalist in the Emergent Choreographer’s Competition in Biarritz, France.</image:caption>
